What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and basic profile information needed to operate the service. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your card details.

Music & files

Music files you upload to vAMP Cloud are stored in encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). Your files are private by default and are never shared with third parties. We do not scan, analyze, or listen to your uploaded content, except when you explicitly use AI metadata tagging features.

AI metadata processing

When you use AI-powered metadata tagging, limited information about your tracks (such as audio fingerprints or filenames) may be sent to third-party AI services for identification. This data is used solely to return metadata results and is not retained by those services.

Local usage

The free desktop and mobile apps work entirely offline. No data is collected or transmitted when using vAMP without an account.

Analytics

We collect minimal, anonymized usage analytics to improve the product. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all uploaded files and account information are permanently removed within 30 days.
